For many years now I have thought that we should use a technique from the film-making industry when thinking about and developing Urban Regeneration projects and programme – that is the technique of Story-boarding.
So, I was interested to read of someone else making the case for using Story-boarding in Landscape design (see here for the article –
https://worldlandscapearchitect.com/design-process-storyboarding-the-landscape/#.Y6RzYxXP200 )
I was particularly interested to hear of this being suggested in a Landscape Architecture journal as I have also long said that Landscape Architects should be an integral part of any master-planning team, if not actually being the team leader and the first of the professional team to be appointed.
And, of course, using Story-boarding should be used when developing other projects and programmes such as, for example, Economic Development; Industrial Strategies; Education and Training Strategies; Leveling Up Strategies, etc.
What do you think?
