Succession Planning as a Regeneration and Economic Strategy

Most established SMEs do not have an exit strategy or a succession plan which allows them to continue after the death or retirement of the owner. This is wasting the knowledge and experience of the owner-manager and is a loss to the UK’s economy which it cannot afford. Encouraging and helping the owners of these companies to have a plan in place ought to be part of any regeneration and economic development strategy. Continue reading
