Silicon Roundabout doesn’t need Public Subsidy

I have said this before here in my Blog, but as Jack White says, it bears repeating: Silicon Roundabout at Old Steet is already a success and has lots of private sector property investment (old and new), and doesn’t need the Government or the Mayor of London throwing tax-payers money into shiney new buildings.

As can be seen by the final photograph property developers such as Derwent London are already on the case, so why do we need public money going into large new buildings, just so the Government can try to claim credit for something which has already happened?
