Empty Shops and how to deal with window displays

Just a quick post to share with you an example of how empty shops in high streets should be dealing with their shop windows.

I saw this in Hebden Bridge when I was there recently. The shop was briefly closed whilst it was putting the finishing touches to its post-flood repairs and renovations:


The owners rightly thought it important to make the shop window look good, and to explain why the shop was closed and what was happening. They successfully did this very simply but effectively. Others can learn a lot from this example.
